La résilience des liquides

Open the door to the body’s innate wisdom through the moving mindfulness practice of Continuum. We are bodies of water being moved by water. Slow down, quiet the mind, and nourish the heart with creative explorations using breath, sound, and wave motion. As our tissues rehydrate, the body becomes less dense and more spacious, finding portals of transformation beneath the compression and sensory overload of modern life.

As the world around us continues to shift and change, reclaiming our truth, trusting our inner wisdom, and refining our ability to listen deeply has never been more important. Continuum is a practice that affirms a place for every being within the infinite web of life. It can feel like coming home and falling in love at the same time.

In this workshop, we’ll explore essential questions:

  • What is support?
  • What is strength?
  • What is resilience?

These four days are an invitation to enter a personal retreat within a shared space of rest, reflection, acceptance, discovery, and collective inspiration.

What might our lives be like if joy and pleasure—rather than fear—were our primary motivators?
What happens when we embrace movement itself as medicine, a source of health and vitality?
How can we get to a place where we don’t struggle as much?
What would it be like to experience the stillness of deep inner and outer acceptance, rather than being held in place by fear, anxiety, overwhelm, or shame?

“The practice of love is the most powerful antidote to the practice of domination.” ~ bell hooks

Ultimately, the best way to understand Continuum is to experience it for yourself. Everyone is welcome. No prior experience is needed—beginners are especially encouraged to join.

Workshop facilitator Megan Bathory-Peeler is a devoted Continuum teacher and an expert somanaut, fully engaged by the moving inquiry of what it takes to thrive in a human body and within the human experience in the 21st century. Her unique Somanautiko approach synergistically weaves together over three decades of professional interdisciplinary study and practice as a teacher of Continuum, Certified Somatic Therapist/Educator, bodyworker, choreographer, performance artist, activist, and mother. Megan’s greatest pleasure comes from co-creating safe spaces that allow people of all ages to return home to themselves, reclaim the power of their own creativity, and find ease in the innate wisdom of their bodies.
